15th century dress by halloumi 15th century dress by halloumi
Wool twill dress with short sleaves and a wool twill button-front hood with a tablet woven edge (a very old technique where you weave a nice decoration and finish the edge AND join the outer fabric and the lining at the same time).
Every stitch is made by hand.

Amazing! Even more so considering you sew it all by hand. oO
I wish more women were interested in reenactment and such. Historical dresses and women's wear are such splendid things. :)

Snyggt!

Tack =D!

Beautiful! I prefer the 14th century, but I also love dresses from the 15th century.

Thank you!! I´m not sure if it´s 15th, it´s a quite modern pattern with the seams on the front and it should have pin on sleeves to be typically 15th century. Next time I will start with a good referense picture.
